George R. Arnold, age 82 of White Cloud, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. George was born on May 8, 1938 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to John Russell and Ruby I. (Widden) Arnold. George met and married Mary Lou Plotts on July 22, 1960 in Sanford, Florida. George had served in the United States Army and was a member of the Operating Engineers Union for several years and later retired from Gerber Products in Fremont. George enjoyed traveling, hunting, camping, boating, but especially treasured the time he spent with his family. George is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Lou of White Cloud; his children, Rob (Laura) Arnold of White Cloud; Rocky (Michele) Arnold of White Cloud; Mike (Kelli) Arnold of White Cloud; Brenda (Bob) Boyer of White Cloud; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; his brother, John R. Arnold of Interlochen, Florida. George was preceded in death by his grandson, Cameron Arnold and by his parents, John and Ruby Arnold.
