George Green Jr. George Green Jr., age 58 of White Cloud, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at the Mercy General Health Partners Hospital in Muskegon. George was born on December 12, 1947 in New Orleans, Louisiana to George and Mary Louise (Fruge) Green Sr. and grew up in New Orleans. He later moved to the White Cloud area in 1985 and met and married Joyce Williams on November 21, 1994 in White Cloud. He attended Louisiana State University (LSU) where he played football for 3 years and enjoyed working in his garage, hunting, watching football and hockey. George had been a boiler maker for the International Brotherhood of Boiler Makers Local 37 in Louisiana until his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Joyce of White Cloud; his sons, Patrick (Tonya) Green of New Orleans, Louisiana; Michael (Dee) Green of New Orleans, Louisiana; 6 grandchildren; his sister, Cheryl Green; mother-in-law, Mary Plotts of White Cloud; stepsons, Scott Williams of Texas; Robert Bulson Jr. of Texas; sister-in-law, Carol (Danny) Robeck of White Cloud; brother-in-laws, Bill (Beth) Plotts of White Cloud; Jim (Mary) Plotts of White Cloud; Fred Plotts of White Cloud; John Williams of Texas; Perry (Tonya) Plotts of Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister, Brenda. Funeral memorial services were held at a later date following cremation.
