Mikolich, Georgia D. Georgia D. Mikolich, age 87 of Fremont, passed away Friday, November 17, 2006 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Georgia was born on Dec. 20, 1918 in Nashville, Tennessee to George and Pearl (Crocker) Finney and later moved to the Fremont area where she met and married John Mikolich on May 28, 1954 in Fremont. Georgia had been a licensed practical nurse for several years and was a member of the St. Michaels Catholic Church in Brunswick. Georgia is survived by a daughter, Rose Pearce; several grandchildren; friends in the Fremont area and neighbors in the Bridgeton area. Funeral Mass Services were held on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 from the St. Michaels Catholic Church in Brunswick with Rev. Father Mike Alber presiding with interment in the St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery. Friends may consider the St. Michaels Catholic Church for memorial contributions in memory of Georgia.
