Georgianna Kay Nelson, age 61 of Twin Lake, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2001 at her home following a lingering illness. She was born on November 29, 1939 in Belding to George Dudley and Zora Adel (Whittier) Irwin and married Victor "Terry" Nelson on March 26, 1962 in Brohman. Victor preceded her in death on July 18, 1997. Georgianna had been a nurses aid at the Whitehall Manor for several years until her retirement in 1986 and was a member of the Twin Lake United Methodist Church where she had been active in various groups. She is survived by her children, Ada Crawford of Twin Lake; Karon (Rick) Stroh of Newaygo; Maurice "Butch" (Cyndi) Gagnon of Holton; Terri Lynn (Jeff) Fessenden of Hesperia; Victor "Bud" Nelson of Twin Lake; Gayla (Ray) Dornbush of Walkerville; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild. Funeral graveside services were held on Friday, November 2, 2001 at the Goodwell Township Cemetery with Rev. Pat Cameran of the Twin Lake United Methodist Church presiding.
