Georgie E. Larson, age 67 of Hesperia, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at her home following a short illness. Georgie was born on September 3, 1950, in Petoskey to Hugh Routh and Marida (Griffin) Mitchell and has been a resident of the Hesperia area for the past 30 years where she had been a homemaker. Georgie met and has been together for over 35 years with her longtime companion, Lawrence Phillips. Georgie enjoyed all types of crafts, gaming, antiques and yard sales. She was considered "Mom" too many and was proud of her Native American heritage. Georgie is survived by her husband, Lawrence Phillips of Hesperia; her sons, Clifford Larson of Zephyr Hills, Florida; Bobby Larson of Whitehall; Peter Phillips of Hesperia; Candy Austin of Hesperia; 2 grandchildren, Clifford Larson and Jessica Larson; 3 great grandchildren; her sisters and brothers, Pat (Gary) Brock of Quapaw, Oklahoma; Brenda Trejo of Hesperia; Jack (Annie) Routh of Kansas; Nathan Routh of North Carolina; Carol Routh of Detroit; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Georgie was preceded in death by her brother and sisters, Ray Routh, Joyce Routh, Barbara Phillips, Tina Trejo Ugalde; her mother, Marida (Griffin) Mitchell; and father, Hugh Routh.
