Georgina Ann Layne, age 45, of Joliet, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly at Silver Cross Hospital in Illinois. Georgina was born on April 28, 1973, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Ronald Eugene and Judy Kathryn (McCumber) Klammer. She was originally from the West Michigan area and enjoyed music and dancing. Georgina is survived by her lifelong partner, Vernon Thomas and husband, Anthony Layne; children, Ashley Vanwingen of White Cloud, Justin Gilmore of White Cloud, Jasmine (Zachary) McGowen of Baldwin, Vernon Klammer of White Cloud, Alexus Klammer of Cedar Springs, Aaliyah Klammer of White Cloud Dontay Klammer of White Cloud, and Tanayah Klammer of White Cloud; grandchildren, Kaden, Karson, Dehlyla, and Abigail; mother, Judy Klammer of White Cloud; sister and brother, Sherrie Lynn (Mike) VanderSloot of White Cloud and Scott Harding of Rockford; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her father Ronald Klammer. Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at 4 PM at the Crandell Funeral Home in White Cloud with Pastor Jeff Murchison officiating. There will be visitation 2 hours prior to the service starting at 2 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
