Schotts, Gerald Gerald Jerry A. Schotts, age 57 of Holton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 19, 2002 at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis , Minnesota . He was born on January 14, 1945 in Fremont to Sam and Ruth (Eimens) Schotts and graduated from White Cloud High School . He married Carolyn Tonkin on May 8, 1965 in White Cloud and moved the Holton area in 1968. He has been a Maintenance Supervisor at the Muskegon Area Intermediate School District and enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his grandson, Tanner. He is survived by Carolyn, his wife of 37 years, his children Todd (Stephanie) Schotts of Detroit; Tammy Schotts of Holton; grandson, Tanner Allen Schotts of Holton; brothers and sisters, Carl (Joyce) Schotts of Muskegon; Art (Peggy) Schotts of Muskegon; Dale Schotts of Muskegon; Robert Schotts of East Jordan; Kathy Schotts of Muskegon; his mother-in-law, Ella Tonkin of White Cloud; sister-in-law, Ruth Schotts of White Cloud; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ken Schotts. Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 26, 2002 at the Holton United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Bremer of the Holton United Methodist Church presiding.
