Gerald O. Daniels, age 76 of Newaygo, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in Jackson, Michigan. Gerald was born on February 5, 1941 in Albion, Michigan to Lloyd and Mary (Miller) Daniels and later married Sharon Heyboer on September 5, 1965 in Grand Rapids. Gerald had worked at Kelvinator, Blackmere Pump and had been a truck driver until his retirement. Gerald had enjoyed fishing and camping.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Sharon of Newaygo; his sons, Russell (Cindy) Daniels of Newaygo; Richard (Kimberly) Daniels of Six Lakes; his grandchildren; William, Brooke, Shayan, Shandy, Joylynn, Melissa Jean, Miranda, Myra and Mandy; 4 great grandchildren; his sister, Joanne Betz; sister-in-law, Dorothy Daniels. Gerald was preceded in death by his son, Robert Daniels; his grandchildren, Robert Daniels Jr, Brian Lee Daniels and A.J. Daniels; his daughter-in-law, Tammie; his brother, John Daniels.

A time of visiting with the Daniel's family will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 2-4pm at the Croton American Legion 6812 S Croton Hardy Dr, Newaygo, MI 49337. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Gerald O. Daniels Family to assist with expenses.
