Gerald Lee Klont, age 75, of Hesperia passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Fountain View Retirement Home in Fremont. Gerald was born on December 10, 1947, in Muskegon to Henry and Doris (Kempf) Klont. Gerald grew up in Holton and graduated from Holton Hight School. He later retired from Gerber Products after 38 years of service. Gerald enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and attending their sporting events. Gerald is survived by his children, Sarah Jo (Lawrence Jr.) Tinkham of Hesperia and Rachael Ann (Amando Segura) Ramos of Hesperia; grandchildren, Josie (fiance Teddy), Lynnsey, Emmet, Gabe, Rosie, Enzo, Alicia, Bubba, and Johnny; great-grandson, Oliver; mother of Sarah and Rachael, Charleen Klont; and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Doris and sister, Karen Walsworth on February 26, 2023. A Celebration of Life with a luncheon for Gerald will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 2 - 5 PM at the Gerber Union Hall. Gerald's final resting place will with his parents in Oakwood Cemetery in Holton.
