Geraldine Mae Lockhart, age 90 of Holton and Muskegon, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023 at the Trinity Health Mercy Campus in Muskegon. Geraldine was born on July 18, 1933 in Huntspur, Mackinaw County, Michigan to James Henry and Letitia (Terrian) Colegrove and later married Robert Lockhart on July 23, 1951 in Manistique. Robert preceded her in death on January 18, 2004. Geraldine had been a resident of the Holton are for the past 70 years or so where she had been a production worker and homemaker. Geraldine had enjoyed playing bingo, hunting and fishing in her younger years with her husband, snowmobiling, traveling and playing cards. Geraldine is survived by her children, Steven (Sandra) Lockhart of Port Austin, Michigan; Alice Lenz of Inverness, Florida; David (Jody) Lockhart of North Muskegon; Letitia (Jim) Lockhart of Muskegon; Leslie Lockhart of Muskegon; Gary (Peggy) Lockhart of Muskegon; several grandchildren; many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren; her sisters, Mildred and Delores. Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her granddaughter, Sylvia Lockhart; great granddaughter, Skyler; her sister, Alice; her brothers, Clarence, Richard and Ronald.
