Geraldine E. Rauch, age 53 of White Cloud, passed away Thursday, February 01, 2001 following injuries received in a fire. She was born on December 9, 1947 in Huntington, West Virginia to Joseph Sanz and Geraldine Erie (Wilkes) Valdes. She has been a resident of the Newaygo County since 1983 where she had worked at the Newaygo County Services Credit Union and currently was employed by the Marriott Corporation where she was a cook at the Gerber Products Company Cafeteria. She married Kenneth Rauch on September 13, 2000 and had attended the Big Prairie Community Church. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of White Cloud; her son, Lyle McCullough and fiance Autumn Andrews of Grant; stepchildren, Julie (Allan) Bapst of Lansing; Lisa (Rodney) Smith of Houston, Texas; Valarie Boehmer of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Brittany, Cameron, Sebastian and Amber Smith; Jessie Boehmer and Wesley Russell; Anthony and Cory Bapst; sisters, Carmen (Charles) Fossell of Huntington, West Virginia; Carolyn (Bill) Evans of Ashland, Kentucky; Jean Valdes of Huntington, West Virginia; brothers, Joe (Susan) Valdes of Southgate, Michigan; Rev. Father Bert Valdes of Huntington, West Virginia. Private memorial services were held at a later time following Geraldines wishes of cremation. Friends may consider the Geraldine E.
