Gertrude Esther Foondle, age 85, of White Cloud passed away Monday November 13, 2000, at Metron of Allegan. She was born on November 27, 1914, in Benton Harbor to James and Elsie (Totzke) Harris and was a cook for the White Cloud Public Schools. She married Fred Foondle on October 7, 1948, in Angola, Indiana, and attended the White Cloud United Methodist Church. She is survived by her children: Charles (Marlene) Stuppy of Charlotte, North Carolina, Michael (Holly) Foondle of Paw Paw, Michigan, and Robin Foondle of Augusta, Michigan; stepchildren: Jim (Linda) Foondle of White Cloud, Elaine (Wayne) Surch of St. Joseph, Michigan, and Ken Foondle of Duncan Oklahoma; many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sister Georgia (Chuck) Jones of Benton Harbor; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Betty Cross in 1994 and husband Fred in 1977. Services were held on Thursday November 16, 2000, at the Crandell Funeral Home in White Cloud with the Rev.
