Miss Gertrude Wierengo, age 91 of Fremont passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2006 in Zephyrhills, Florida. Gertrude was born April 17, 1914 in Fremont to Charles and Mary C. (Clock) Wierengo and had been a payroll clerk for Gerber Products Company until her retirement. She was member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Fremont. She is survived by 1 sister, Mrs. Joan Silverwood of Fremont; 1 niece, Mary Jo Tate of Florida; 1 nephew Richard C. Silverwood of Royal Oak; and cousins, Carl Hamstra of Muskegon, Maynard DeYoung of Holton and Mary Miley of Holton. She was preceded in death by her brother Henry, her sister Berendina, brother-in-law, C. Richard Silverwood, and Cousin H.J. Bud Clock. Funeral Services were held on Thursday, March 30, 2006 at Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in Fremont with interment in Maple Grove Cemetery.
