Blamer, Glen L. Glen L. Blamer, age 75 of Holton, passed away Thursday at the University Park Living Center in Muskegon. Glen was born on Sept. 1, 1931 in Hart to Roy L. and Glenna (Carnes) Blamer and has been a lifelong resident of the Holton area. Glen worked at the Bray Tool Company in Muskegon for many years until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of the Hesperia American Legion and volunteered many hours in his younger years at the Holton American Legion; a member of the VFW and White Cloud Eagles and was the first elected founding President of the Holton Gun Club where he competed in various shooting competitions and enjoyed being in the Michigan outdoors deer hunting. He is survived by his children, children, Marie (Gary) Beattie of Twin Lake; John (Connie) Blamer of Twin Lake; Judy (John) Jessen of Salinas, California; Richard Blamer of Twin Lake; Diane Brady of Freesoil; Glen (Patty) Blamer Jr. of Holton; Anthony (Cindy) Blamer of Holton; 20 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; his former wives, Norma Jaunese of Twin Lake; Marie Blamer of Twin Lake; his stepchildren, Anita (Bob) Koehler of Twin Lake; Robert Brooks of Twin Lake; Greg Brooks of Twin Lake; Brad (Tammy) Brooks of Twin Lake; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; his brother, Vernon (Shirley) Blamer of White Cloud; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Louise Geeting and brother, Kenneth Blamer. Funeral services were held on Monday, April 16, 2007 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Pastor Richard Mead presiding with interment in the Reeman Cemetery. Friends may consider the Muskegon County Veterans Center for memorial contributions in memory of Glen. I never knew your dad but wondered if this was him. I'm very sorry for your loss. This is a wierd point in our lives where this stuff is happening all the time to our loved ones.
