Glenda L. McHenry, age 75 of White Cloud, formerly of Wyoming, Michigan, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids following a short illness. Glenda was born on August 28, 1937 in Wyoming to Glenn and Florence (Peck) Hughes and later married Leonard McHenry on October 4, 1957 in Wyoming. Glenda moved to the White Cloud area in November of 1976 from Wyoming and had worked at Wolverine Worldwide in Big Rapids as an inspector until her retirement in 1999. Glenda enjoyed the Michigan outdoors where she was enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and flower gardening. Glenda had been active on the Wilcox Township Election Board for several years and was a member of TOPS in White Cloud and enjoyed going to Curves in Newaygo. Glenda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Leonard of White Cloud; her daughter, Cathy (John) Schultz of Rockford; her son, Keith McHenry of White Cloud; her grandchildren, Crystal, Craig, Ashley, Jessie, Josh, Ryan, and Heather; her brother, Jerry (Sharon) Hughes of Wyoming; Pat Bassarba of Manistee; several nieces and nephews. Glenda was preceded in death by her sons, Thomas in 2004 and Patrick in 2011; and her brothers, Ronald and Donald Hughes.
