Gloria Jean Franklin, age 78 of Newaygo, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024, at her home following a long decline in her health.  Gloria was born on July 11, 1945, in Jackson, Michigan to Stanley and Grace Amelia (Miller) LaCourse.  Gloria met and later married Ronald "Bill" Franklin on July 15, 1961, in White Cloud and has been a longtime resident of the Newaygo County area.  Gloria had worked as a production worker at Sparta Foundry for several years and also sold Avon products for many years.  Gloria was a member of the Church of God Ministry Center (White Cloud Church of God) and also taught Sunday School for many years.  She enjoyed her card ministry of sending cards to family and friends, camping in her younger years, singing with her husband, spending time and being a caregiver to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Bill of Newaygo; her daughters, Carrie (Michael) Sanborn of Fremont; Cheryl (Wess) DeLonge of Kalispell, Montana; her grandchildren, Cassondra (Adam) Wright; Jamie (Carlos) Pineda; Calvin Sanborn; Timothy (Cassandra) Sanborn; Desirae Sanborn; Renea (Joel) DeLonge; Brittney (Chris) Wishert; Richard (Miranda) DeLonge; Shawn (Maggie) DeLonge; Brennen DeLonge; 20 great grandchildren.  Gloria was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Grace and Clifford Hannah and her father, Stanley LaCourse.

VISITATION: Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 12:30-2pm at the Church of God Ministry Center (White Cloud Church of God) 1621 S. Evergreen Drive White Cloud MI 49349.  FUNERAL SERVICES: Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of God Ministry Century.  MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: to the Gloria J.
