DeVore, Gordon Graves Gordon Graves DeVore, age 65, of White Cloud passed away on Saturday, May 21 2005, at home following a long illness. He was born on October 9, 1939, to Louis J. Dorothy (Ray) DeVore in Hoopeston, Illinois, and married Linda Sue Flinton on December 30, 1971, in Hesperia. He was a carpenter and wood craftsman. Gordon is survived by his wife Linda; 9 sons, Dennis (Norma) DeVore of Grant, Douglas (Deb) DeVore of Greenville, David DeVore of White Cloud, Daryl, DeVore of Greenville, Dana DeVore of Grand Rapids, Pete (Tracy) Jordan of Fremont, John (Cynthia) Jordan of White Cloud, Richard (Shirley) Jordan of Jackson, and Bobby (Raegan) Jordan of New Jersey; 27 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, LaWanda Hall of Greenville, Sandra (Shayne) Smith of Lakeview, Andrea King of Eaton Rapids; borthers, Michael (Nancy) DeVore of Gowen, Louis (Jo) DeVore of Six Lakes; step-brother, Jerry (Ann) Bouman of Kent City; and several nieces and nephews. Gordon was preceded in death by his daughter, Delores Ann, foster son, Scott Longcore, and brother, Donald DeVore. Graveside services were held at on Saturday, May 28, 2005, at the White Cloud Cemetery. Friends are asked to consider Heartland Hospice for a more lasting memorial contribution.
