Milton, Grace Pauline Grace Pauline Milton, age 81 of Gwinn, formerly of White Cloud, passed away Monday, December 22, 2003 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility in Marquette , Michigan . Grace was born on August 30, 1922 in Fremont to Walter and Emma (Schotts) Graves and later married Roy Milton. Roy preceded her in death in 1997. She lived in German, Japan , Alaska , Maine , Georgia , Texas , Illinois and Michigan . She and her husband retired in Arizona where she spent 33 years until moving back to White Cloud and eventually to Gwinn , Michigan in September 2000.. She was an active member of the Creighton United Methodist Church , the Phoenix V.F.W. where she served on various committees and volunteered at the Veterans Hospital. She is survived by her daughters, Jacquelyn (Paul) St. Andre of Gwinn, Michigan; Janice Chapman of Corona, California; Julie Benson of Occidental, California; 1 son, James Milton of Anchorage, Alaska; daughter-in-law, Linda Milton of Stowe, Vermont; 6 grandchildren, Joseph (Mary) St. Andre; David (Tara) St. Andre; Michael St. Andre; Todd Reniewicki; Clinton (Laura) Milton; Chatham Milton; 8 great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Joshua, Matthew, Kayla, Krystle, Taylor, Jonathan, and Andrew; 4 sisters, Virginia (Tom) Thomasma of Glen Arbor, Michigan; Dottie (Leonard) Smith of White Cloud; Kaye Katt of Essexville, Michigan; 1 brother, Peter Graves of Muskegon; brother-in-law, George Stuewer of Greenville; sister-in-laws, Virginia Dolphin of Newaygo and Ruth Graves of White Cloud. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Roy Milton in 1997; a son, Fredrick Milton; a sister, Mary Stuewer and 2 brothers, John Graves and Clinton Graves. Memorial services were held on the May 2004 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Cloud with interment in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in White Cloud.
