Steele, Grace Grace Steele, age 88 of Fremont, passed away Friday morning at the in Allegan. She was born on May 20, 1917 in Newaygo County to Ralph and Della (Bol) Posthumus and later married John Steele in 1938 in Grant. John preceded her in death on December 4, 1982. She has been a lifelong resident of the Newaygo County area and enjoyed flowers. She is survived by her children, Duncan Steele of Oakland, California; Mark Steele of Grand Rapids; Tim Steele of Fremont; 1 grand daughter, Christine (Robert) Chaney of Grand Rapids. She was preceded in death her sister, Harriet Yonkers; her brothers, Jake Posthumus; John Posthumas; Ben Posthumas. Funeral graveside services were held on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 from the White Cloud Cemetery with Mr. Mark Steele presiding.
