Gregg W. Bish, age 63 of Fremont, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 15, 2017 at his home. Gregg was born on July 10, 1954 in Tiffin, Ohio to Kenneth and Kathleen (Miller) Bish and graduated from Columbian High School in Tiffin, Ohio. Gregg later received his associated degree and worked as a quality engineer for many years and later retired from the warranty management department at Magna Donnelly in Newaygo in February 2017. Gregg married Gretchen (Mittelstaedt) on November 21, 1992 in Gaylord, Michigan and has been a resident of the Fremont area since 1997. Gregg enjoyed music and in his younger days, played the bass guitar and trombone in a band; enjoyed woodworking and do-it-yourself projects at home and was an avid gamer.

Gregg is survived by his wife, Gretchen of Fremont; his children, Brandon (Jill) Bish of Portage; Army Staff Sgt. Ryan Bish of Fort Wainwright in Alaska; Sean (Loren) Bish of Aurora, Colorado; Christian Bish of Fremont; John Bish of Fremont; Airman First Class Connor Bish of Altus Air Force Base in Oklahoma; Stephanie Schifer of Columbus, Ohio; 5 grandchildren; his sister, Sharon (Ron) Cooney of Raleigh, North Carolina; Roger (Carol) Bish of Houghton, Michigan; Kevin (Linda) Bish of Tiffin, Ohio; his mother and father-in-law, Darleen and Edwin Mittelstaedt of Chatham, Illinois; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Gregg was preceded in death by his daughter, Megan Bish; his parents, Kenneth and Kathleen Bish; his brother, Lynn Bish.

VISITATION : Friday, September 22, 2017 from 9:30 – 11am. FUNERAL SERVICES : Friday, September 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the All Saints Catholic Church 500 Iroquois Drive Fremont MI 49412. INTERMENT : Bridgeton Township Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : to the Bish family to assist with funeral expenses.
