Gregory Arnold Bland, age 58 of White Cloud, formerly of Detroit, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 at his home following a short illness. Gregory was born on February 11, 1954 in Detroit to Herman and Wiley Mae (Morton) Bland and later married Sandra (Craighead) Dhue on March 5, 1993 in Ohio. Gregory had been a heavy equipment mechanic for the City of Detroit for 31 years until his retirement in 2005 when he moved to the White Cloud area. Gregory enjoyed tinkering with cars and the Michigan nature outdoors. Gregory is survived by his wife, Sandra of White Cloud; daughter, LaKrystal Dhue of Detroit; grandchildren, Michael Dhue Reid; Trevor Dhue Reid; Christian Dhue Reid. Private services will be held later following Gregorys wishes for cremation.
