Gregory A. Parks, age 63 of Fremont, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022 at his home following a short illness. Greg was born on May 24, 1958 in Fremont to Elwood and Barbara (Smith) Parks and graduated from Fremont High School in 1977. Greg has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont area where he had been a site supervisor in the underground utilities industries and also enjoyed construction and building homes. Greg had enjoyed stock car racing, snowmobile racing, traveling and was always tinkering or involved with building in some way. Greg is survived by his children and grandchildren, daughter, - Hillary (Mark Dunbar) Nelson of Fremont and children, Conner and Airianna Nelson. Son – Alex (Samantha Waite) Parks of Fremont and children, Kaitlyn Waite, Taylor Waite, Eli Waite, Reese Parks. Daughter – Shea (Steven Hall) Parks of Fremont and son, Beckham Grundel. His brothers, Mark Siersema of Allegan; Roger Parks of Newaygo; Robert Parks of Wyoming; Ron Parks of Fresno, California; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood and Barbara Parks and by his brother, Don Parks.
