Guy Nathaniel Wolgamott, age 84 of Bitely, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Corewell Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids.  Guy was born on December 23, 1939 in Bitely to Ervin and Mary Ann (Smith) Wolgamott and graduated from Walkerville High School in 1959.  Guy later married Dorothy E. Krise on January 31, 1976 in Bitely and Dorothy preceded him in death on March 19, 2014.  Guy had been a tree trimmer for many years until his retirement and enjoyed spending time with his family, all animals, the Michigan outdoors – fishing, taking walks in the woods, swimming; reading westerns and working crossword puzzles.

Guy is survived by his children, Jennifer (Benjamin) Kirwin of Walkerville; Guy N. (Vanessa) Wolgamott II of Baldwin; George (Jackie) Wolgamott of Walkerville; his grandchildren, Parker and Perrin Kirwin; Easton and Hudson Wolgamott; several nieces and nephews.  Guy was preceded in death by all his sisters and brothers, Margaret, Elepha, Andy, Bruce, Dale, Loren, LD, Labon, George.

Following Guy's request, a Masonic Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Troy Township Cemetery where Guy will be laid to rest next to his wife, Dorothy.  Friends may send  condolence or share a memory with the Wolgamott family online at www.crandellfh.com.  Arrangements by Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel.  231-924-0800.
