Hannelore M. Frazier, age 78 of Hesperia, passed away Friday, December 26, 2008 at her home following a short illness. Hannelore was born on November 20, 1930 in Berlin, Germany to Helmut R. and Paula (Schwill) von Cotzhausen and graduated from high school in Germany. Hannelore grew up in Germany during World War II and through her upbringing and throughout her lifetime upheld a good character about her and raised her children with this character as well. Hannelore met Robert E. Frazier during the Korean Era while Robert was stationed in Germany and later moved to the United States with Robert in June 1956. They were later married in 1957 in Owasso, Michigan. Robert preceded her in death on June 18, 2007. Hannelore moved to the Hesperia area from Yucca Valley, California in 1979 and had been a self employed house cleaner. Hannelore enjoyed gardeing, reading, corresponding with her grandchildren, and feeding the birds at her home. Hannelore especially was talented with cooking. She is survived by her children, Anne Marie (Curtis) Stevens of Farwell, Michigan; Earl (Lydia) Frazier of Great Mills, Maryland; Katherine (Daniel) Degroot of Hesperia; Christina Smith of Saginaw; Steven (Marva) Frazier of Hesperia; 19 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; her sister, Christa in Berlin, Germany.
