Obituary

Harold H. Allers, age 89, of White Cloud, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2001, at home. He was born on June 14, 1912, in White Cloud to Jacob and Minnie (Grabill) Allers and graduated from White Cloud High School in 1932. Harold married Madeline Carey on September 29, 1934, in Morley and she preceded him in death on September 20, 1984. He farmed for many years before operating Allers Friendly Mobile Station in White Cloud until retirement. He is survived by son, Michael Allers; daughters, Mrs. Donna Paulsen, Mrs. Barbara (Martin) Thompson, and Mrs. Judy (James) Hitts all of White Cloud; 11 grandchildren; 28 great--grandchildren; brother, Leonard (Elizabeth) Allers of Rockford; sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Auer of Bay City, Mrs. Florence (Walter) Griggs of Saginaw, and Helena Dalziel of Fremont; and several nieces and nephews. His sister Eunice Winters preceded him in death. Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 5, 2001, from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Rev. Richard Hoogerhyde officiating. Interment was in Big Prairie Cemetery. For a more lasting memorial friends are asked to consider the National Kidney Foundation. Envelopes are available at the Crandell Funeral Home in White Cloud.
