Harold (Bud) Dill, age 95, of Fremont passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2003 , at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont . He was born on March 2, 1908 , in Ridgway , Pennsylvania , to Glen A. and Hilpa Grace (Lobaugh) Dill and graduated from Jackson High School in 1926. He married Sorone Babcock on September 12, 1929 , in Jackson and was a sales representative for Economy Wallpaper Company for 24 years. Harold attended the Fremont United Methodist Church . Harold is survived by daughter Alice (Bertram) Vermeulen of Fremont; grandchildren Edwin Vermeulen of New York , Anne (James) Featherstone of Fremont, and Martha (Richard) Kallenbach of Fremont; and 4 great--grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Sorone on March 6, 2001 , and son Harold Lee Dill in 1935. A celebration of Harolds life was held on Sunday, August 17, 2003 , at 3:00 p.m. from the Fremont United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lawrence Wood and Chaplain Judy Cory officiating.
