Jamieson, Harold M. Harold M. Jamieson, age 83 of White Cloud, passed away Thursday, January 08, 2004 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont . He was born on September 19, 1920 in Grand Rapids to Robert and Jennie (Stevens) Jamieson and married Alice H. DeVries on February 12, 1946 in Niles , Michigan . Harold has been a resident of the White Cloud area for the past 40 years where he was a member of the White Cloud United Methodist Church. He had been a truck driver for Erb Lumber Company for several years until his retirement in 1982. He enjoyed being outdoors and was a veteran of World War II where he served in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Alice of White Cloud; his daughter, Jean Marie (Charles) Klemundt of White Cloud; his sons, Jimmy (Wendy) Jamieson of Kentwood; Harold John (Elaine) Jamieson of Fremont; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; his sister, Myra Nelson of Grandville. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 10, 2004 from the White Cloud United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff Bowman of the White Cloud United Methodist Church presiding with military rites under the auspices of the Newaygo V.F.W. Sportsmans Post #4249 and interment at the Lincoln Township Cemetery .
