Harold Johnny Gene Tackett, age 78, of White Cloud passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. Johnny retired from Clark Equipment Company in Battle Creek and enjoyed working on cars, hunting, and fishing. Johnny is survived by his children, J.R. (Sandra) G. Tackett Jr. of Otsego, Brenda (Jonathan) Thompson of Indianapolis, Indiana, Joseph E. Tackett of Chilhowie, Virginia, and Rebecca Katie Kaye (Joe) Roberts of Grand Rapids; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charlie (Betty) Tackett and Jack (LoJean) Tackett; sister in law, Linda Tackett; many special cousins, nieces, and nephews; and dear friend Hattie Roberts. He was preceded in death by his brother, Clarence Tackett and half brother, Leo McAllister. A luncheon and time of sharing will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at the Stadt Caf, 5377 South Croton Hardy Drive in Newaygo. All are welcome.
