Harold W. Jones, age 82, of Twin Lake, passed away Tuesday morning following a lingering illness. He was born on October 4, 1918, in Mooreland, Michigan, to Goerge and Beatrice (Mudge) Jones and married Edna Bayne on June 15, 1940, in Ravenna. He has been a lifelong resident of the Ravenna and Twin Lake Area where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting and trapping. He worked at Bruce Wiersma Ford in Fremont as an automotive body technician until his retirement in 1982. He is survived his loving wife, Edna of Twin Lake; 4 children, Rose (William) Woods of Grand Junction, Michigan, Gladys "Sue" Beluzar of Twin Lake, Harold W. (Thelma) Jones Sr. of Dundee, Florida, and Jay W. (Linda) Jones of Hesperia; 12 grandchildren, Laura (Robert) Vanderwall, Kate Sprague, Tim Woods, Barbara Woods, Colleen Barnes, Shawn (Rhonda) Barnes, Gregory Barnes, Roger (Mindy) Beluzar, Mike (Amanda) Jones, Tina (Peter) Linck, Kenneth (Carmen) Jones, Scott (Ellen) Jones; 20 great-- grandchildren; his sisters, Leta Bennett of Ravenna and Patricia (Delbert) Bissell of Holton; and his brother, William (Rose) Jones of Muskegon. Funeral services were held on Friday, April 27, 2001, at 3:00p.m. from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in Fremont with Pastor Bob Wood from the Cedar Creek Church officiating. Interment is in Oakwood Cemetery - Holton.
