Harold L. Roberts, age 71 of Fremont, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2008 at the Spectrum Health Services Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Harold was born on February 9, 1937 in Petoskey, Michigan to Russell and Laurene (Quayle) Roberts and later married Dianne Ellen Maurer on June 24, 1988 in Fremont. Harold started Roberts Accounting Services in 1985 and moved to the Fremont area in 1989. He was a co-founder of Global Friendships Ministries in Fremont which started in 1993. Harold also enjoyed playing the tuba and started at the age of 8 and continued throughout his life. He is survived by his wife, Dianne of Fremont; his children, Melissa Roberts; Dawn Roberts; Sarah (Jim) Soles; Michelle Walker; Shawn (Kelly) Walker; grandchildren, Jonathan; Matthew; Katie; Ashley; Tyler; Steven; Nicholas; Ashley; Darion; Axel.
