Harriet Elaine Webster, age 87, and long time resident of Fremont, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2008, in Lamont, Michigan. Elaine was born on April 18, 1921, in Hesperia, to Robert Gordon and Altha Violia (Moon) Jones and married Cloyce L. Webster on January 20, 1946. Elaine was a member of the Hesperia United Methodist Church. She also had helped in the family business. Elaine is survived by her children, Lowell (Jeanne) Webster of Marne, Jean (John) Leland of South Bend, Indiana, and Gordon Webster of Fremont; brothers, Edwin Jones and Vernon (Liz) Jones; sister, Vivian (Don) Vlas; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Cloyce in 1999; brother, Gardner Jones; and sister-in-laws Pauline and Millie Jones. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, from 6-8p.m. at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00a.m. at the funeral home.
