Hoffman, Harriette Jean (Osenga) Harriette Jean (Osenga) Hoffman, age 82 of White Cloud, formerly of Jenison, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 28, 2010. Harriette had been a crossing guard at Sandy Hill School in Jenison for 10 years. She was a wonderful loving wife, mother, and grandma; talented artist and bingo enthusiast. She and Richard wintered in Port Isabel, Texas for 24 years. She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Richard Hoffman of White Cloud; children, JoAnn (Randy) Essenburg of Holland; Audrey (Rev. Leon) De Haan of Allendale; Pat Bongard of Stanwood; Arlene (Mike) Feuerstein of Wyoming; Richard A. (Brenda) Hoffman of Grand Haven; John (Brenda) Hoffman of West Olive; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte Flanders of Grandville; Lucille Sytsema of Wyoming; Martha (Dan) DeRogee of Wyoming; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Jim Brinks of White Cloud; Henry VanderBie of Grand Rapids; Jim (Carol) Hoffman of Kentwood; Carol Hoffman of Grandville; several nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Anna Osenga, her brothers, Bernard and Donald Osenga; her sisters, Adeline Raatz and Nancy Brinks. SERVICES : Visitation with the family on Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 1-2pm at the Resurrection Life Church in Newaygo, 302 E 68th Street, Newaygo, with memorial services beginning at 2pm and luncheon following at the church.
