It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harry Cooley II, who passed away on Thursday, July 9th, 2026, at the age of 49. Harry was born in Muskegon, Michigan, on March 23rd, 1977, to Harry Cooley Sr. and Robin "Sue" Cooley and later married his now estranged wife, Katrina on December 31st, 1999.

Harry's life was marked by hard work and a deep passion for his interests. Harry had a knack for working on automobiles and found joy in the simple pleasures of life such as fishing, hunting, and canoeing down the river, activities that allowed him to connect with nature and find peace.

Harry is survived by his loving mother, Robin "Sue" Cooley; his sister, Lora (Donald) Morey, his cherished nephew Brentten (Danielle) Udell, and niece, Miranda (Josh) Fulton; three adored great-nephews and one precious great-niece; his beloved son, Derek Cooley; and his step-son, Luke Strandberg. Harry was preceded in death by his father, Harry Duane Cooley Sr., and many beloved aunts and uncles.

A funeral service to honor the life of Harry Cooley II will be held at Crandell Funeral Home - Fremont Chapel on Saturday, July 18th, 2026, at 12:30 pm. Following the service, a graveside service will take place at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Rothbury, MI, at 2:15 pm. These arrangements have been entrusted to Crandell Funeral Home - Fremont Chapel.
