Obituary

Harry Paulsen, age 63 of White Cloud, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 28, 1998 at his home. He was born on March 11, 1935 in White Cloud to Harry C. and Hazel (Redman) Paulsen and married Donna Allers on October 30, 1954 in White Cloud. He had been a police officer with the Michigan State Police for 31 years where he served as a Trooper and also served on the Michigan State Police Dive Team until his retirement in 1986. He was also a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud. He is survived by his wife, Donna of White Cloud; his children, Lucinda Paulsen of Mesick; Mark Paulsen of White Cloud; Laureen (Mike) Deater of White Cloud; Penny (Stan) McCumber of White Cloud; Greg (Chris) Paulsen of White Cloud; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Erwin (Mable) Paulsen of Cedar Springs; 2 sisters, Eleanor (Paul) Towne of Coopersville; Lillian (Don) Brondyke of Muskegon; one brother-in-law, Ken Goyings of White Cloud; his father-in-law, Harold Allers of White Cloud. He was preceded in death by one son, baby boy Paulsen, granddaughter, Brittany McCumber; one sister, Verna Goyings; and 2 infant brothers. Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 31, 1998 from the Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud with Rev. Richard Hoogerhyde presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Township Cemetery.
