DeVanney, Hazel M. Hazel M. DeVanney, age 64 of Fremont passed away Thursday, May 22, 2003 at her home. She was born on September 29, 1938 in Muskegon to William and Helen (Coles) LeBaron and married Thomas V. DeVanney on June 21, 1958 at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Muskegon . She had been a data entry operator at the General Dynamics, formerly Teledyne Continental Motors Company until her retirement. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont and enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, one-on-one time with her 2 grand daughters, casino trips and bringing in the New Year with family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Thomas of Fremont; her daughters, Toni DeVanney; Cindy Vaughn; Sue (Dan) DeVanney-Booker; her grand daughters, Danielle Vaughn and Morgan DeVanney Medd; step-grandsons, D.J. Booker, Steven Booker, Joey Booker all of Fremont; her sisters, Joyce (Jim) Ekkel of Whitehall; Roseanna (Herb) Huntley of Muskegon; brothers, Frank (Dee) LeBaron; Bill (Elva) LaBaron of both of Muskegon; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; special friends, Duane Genther of White Cloud; Calvin and Lucinda Bannen & Boys of Lakeview. She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen & William LeBaron; her brother, Arthur LeBaron; her in-laws, Louis Ceallaigh and Celeste DeVanney. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 28, 2003 from the All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont with Rev. Father Tony Russo and Father Cosmas Archibong presiding. Friends may consider the Hazel M. DeVanney Family for Hazels favorite charities for memorial contributions. Hazel was loved by everyone who knew her. She had a special way with people and animals.
