Hazel Marie Kaley, age 88, of Brohman passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at Transitional Health Services in Fremont. Hazel was born on March 12, 1921, in Shelbyanna, Kentucky, and married Ferman Earl Kaley on May 29, 1949, in Muskegon. Hazel and Ferman owned and operated Kaleys Bar and Grill for over 30 years in Brohman. Hazel is survived by her son, Bruce (Janice) Moore of Fruitport; grandchildren, Jane (Greg) Mason of Fruitport, Cheryl (Tim) Eikenberry of Muskegon, Gary (Dana) Moore of Muskegon, and Bruce (Cheryl Miller) Moore of Newaygo; 9 great-grandchildren; 8 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Dee Leverton of Lansing and Lorraine (Stanley) Malinowski of Ravenna. She was preceded in death by her husband Ferman and many brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held at 12 noon on Saturday, June 27, 2009, from the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont with interment in Merrill Township Cemetery.
