Helen J. Thomas, age 89 of White Cloud, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the Metron Nursing Home in Big Rapids. Helen was born on June 25, 1925 to Albert and Ethel (Schooley) Larsen in Barton Township and later married Elmer Thomas on June 25, 1943 in Fremont. Elmer preceded her in death on June 16, 1991. Helen has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area where she had been a seamstress and was well known for her dress making skills. Helen was a longtime member of the White Cloud Church of God where she had been active in the Ladies Ministry. Helen is survived by her daughters, Jeri Sue Harasim of Lowell; Judy (Mike) Barnes of Battle Creek; his son, Karl Thomas of Rapid City, South Dakota; her grandchildren, Gail Barnes, Gary (Dawn) Barnes; Jason (Jen) Thomas; Tiffany Conklin; her great grandchildren, Danyell Knight, Courtney Barnes, Kameran Barnes, Kyan Barnes, Portia Thomas, Elise Thomas, Collin Conklin, Felicity Conklin; her great great granddaughter, Kylee Knight. Helen was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Robert Harasim and by 8 brothers and sisters. VISITATION : Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 12:30-1:30pm at the White Cloud Church of God 1621 S.
