Helena M. Dalziel, age 97 of White Cloud, passed away Wednesday at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont. Helena was born on May 22, 1910 in White Cloud to Jacob and Minnie Ethel (Grabill) Allers and has been a lifelong resident of White Cloud. Helena had been a school teacher at a country school and was a homemaker. She met and later married Albert Dalziel on Dec. 21, 1935 in Big Rapids and Albert preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 1999. Helena enjoyed gardening and visiting with her family, especially with the little children. SURVIVORS : her sons, Stanley Dalziel of Swartz Creek, MI; Lyle (Deborah) Dalziel of The Villages, FL; her grandchildren, Liesha (Brian) Crawford; Stanley (Miriam) Dalziel; Stacey (Jeff) Dunkley; Shari (Tom) Allen; Steven (Roseann) Dalziel; great grandchildren, Bridgit, Shelley, Deanna, Stanley, Rachel, Alex, Zachary, Paul Jr., Stephanie, Samantha, Abigail; her great great grandson, Trenton; her sisters, Florence Grigg of Saginaw; Beatrice Auer of Bay City; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; her son, Carl Dalziel on March 19, 1999; her grandsons, Timothy and Joseph Dalziel; her sister, Eunice Winter; her brothers, Leonard Allers and Harold Allers. Funeral services were held on Sunday at 2pm at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with interment in the Big Prairie Twp. Cemetery.
