Henry W. Bill Wade, age 69 of Twin Lake and formerly of Fremont, passed away Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Mercy Health Partners Mercy Hospital in Muskegon following a lingering illness. Bill was born on July 1, 1944 in Muskegon and later married Joyce Dutcher on September 7, 1967 in Twin Lake. Bill and Joyce had been longtime residents of the Fremont area until they moved to Twin Lake in 1999. Bill had been a production worker at Howmet for several years until his retirement in 1995. Bill also served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Bill enjoyed watching western movies, was an avid gun collector, enjoyed traveling to the south and especially enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bill is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joyce; his daughter, Michelle (Carl) Maynard of White Cloud; his son, John (Christine) Wade of Fremont; his daughter-in-law, Jody Wade of Fremont; son-in-law, Steve Kilts of Fremont; his grandchildren, Nathan, Aaron, and Adam Thompson; Jacob and Christian Wade; Steve, Matt, and Kody Kilts; Tiffany Barnhard, Amber, Stephanie and Brittany Wade; 4 great grandchildren; his special cousin, Brenda (Ellis) Bolles of Muskegon. Bill was preceded in death by his daughter, Cora Kari Kilts, his son, William Bill Wade, and by his aunt and uncle who raised him, Eleanor and John Goodman. Funeral Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 7pm at the Fremont Christian Church, Disciples of Christ 10 E Elm Street in Fremont with Rev. David Dickinson presiding and military rites given under the auspices of the Holton American Legion and the United States Marine Corps.
