Holly Jo Gould, age 18 of Hesperia, passed away Friday, May 14, 2004 at the Spectrum Health Services following her battle with cancer. Holly was born on December 28, 1985 in Fremont to Mike and Cindy (Thompson) Gould. She was a senior at Hesperia High School and was a member of Lighthouse Community Church in Hesperia. Holly played on the Hesperia Girls Basketball and Baseball Team and enjoyed all sports. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, riding her waverunner and other water sports. She is survived by her parents, Mike and Cindy Gould of Hesperia; her brothers and sisters, Kevin (Laura) Rosencrans of Arkansas; Daniel (Tammie) Gleason of Hesperia; Chris (Jamie) Gould of Hesperia; Michael (Sonni) Gould of Arkansas; Dawn Gleason of Hesperia; Tim (Ricky) Gould of Hesperia; Sarah Gould at home in Hesperia; 4 nephews, 6 nieces; her maternal grandfather, Walter Thompson of Hesperia; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services were held on Monday at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Pastor Bob Collins of the Lighthouse Community Church of Hesperia presiding with interment in the Volney Cemetery. Friends may consider the DeVos Childrens Hospital HEMOC Oncology Department in Grand Rapids for memorial contributions in memory of Holly.
