Howard E. Dulin, age 59 of Howard City, formerly of White Cloud, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 at his home. Howard was born on June 20, 1951 in Muskegon to Cecil L. and Mildred I. (Page) Dulin, moved to the White Cloud area in 1960 and graduated from White Cloud High School in 1970. Howard has been a longtime resident of the White Cloud area and moved to the Howard City area in 1995. Howard married Kathleen Hanes on January 23, 1993 in White Cloud. Howard had been a heavy equipment operator and had been self employed for many years and enjoyed fishing, hunting and had enjoyed riding his motorcycle in his younger years, but his family was most important to Howard. Howard is survived by his wife, Kathleen of Howard City; his children, Nick Dulin of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Rebecca (Terry) Dulin of White Cloud; Sarah (Joe) Dulin of White Cloud; 2 grandchildren; 1 step daughter, Stephanie Vandecar (Scott Vanderploeg); 4 step grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren; his brothers, Cecil Dulin of White Cloud; Harold (Fran) Dulin of Hesperia; his half sisters, Joyce Wallis of White Cloud; Connie (Leo) McGranahan of Oregon; sister-in-law, Sherrilyn Davis of Newaygo; brother-in-law, Steven Hanes of Newaygo; special friend, Albert Steil of Newaygo; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Perry, Roger, and Marvin; his sister, Norma Jean Jordan; his grand daughter, Raianne. Memorial services will be held following cremation on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 2pm at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with a time of visiting with the family from 1-2pm at the funeral home. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Dulin family to assist with expenses.
