Howard Dean Gunderson, age 91, of White Cloud, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Spectrum Health Services - Gerber Memorial in Fremont. Howard was born on February 12, 1922, in Steward, Illinois, to Adolph and Carrie (Saylor) Gunderson and married Patricia Robinson on May 28, 1971 in Kalamazoo. Howard was an architect and had served as a building inspector in the Newaygo County area. Howard served in the Navy during WWII and the Korean War as a radioman. Howard was a life time member of the ELKS Lodge#50 in Kalamazoo, member of the VFW and White Cloud Eagles #4170. Howard is survived by his wife Patricia of White Cloud; 3 children from a previous marriage; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Walter Gunderson and sister, Dorothy Gunderson. There will not be any services for Howard at this time.
