Jerry Woodring Posted 8/8/2007 Jane Mary, We have always thought of you as a part of our family. Your parents were very special people and they had a very special daughter. Our prayers and concerns are with you at this sad time. Much love, Arnold and Mildred Posted 8/8/2007 When Hod married Marguerite, he became Grandpa to all of her grandchildren and their families. He delighted in all of the great grandchildren and loved watching them grow up and come to visit him. I will remember Grandpa Hod for the way he loved family, friends, and animals; most recently his 'kitty cat' at Fountain View. I will remember the way he cared for my grandma and was such a gentleman. Grandpa Hod loved to share his favorite stories with visitors and had a great smile and laugh. Erik Salisbury Posted 8/8/2007 Dear Janet and Galen, Rod and Colleen & family: Very sorry to hear of your loss. Howard was a wonderful, caring neighbor who loved to talk, hand feed squirrels, loved our dogs, liked children, and worked diligently on his yard. He was a great man who cared about everyone. Friends Always, Linda, Mandy, & Amy Hills Posted 8/8/2007 Jane, We first became acquainted with your parents through Vi's teaching, as Dick was teaching then, too. Then, one surprising time, your folks called on mine, in Lake Worth, when you lived near there. My Dad, Onie Coblentz, and your Dad, had a golf date ! Hod always recalled that to us as a nice time. Also, there was a very brief obit in the Muskegon newspaper when Dad died in 2003. Hod was our very first condolence caller that morning! Such a thoughtful gentleman as Hod was. We are sorry for your loss. Dick and Judy Ramm Posted 8/21/07
