Ila Mary Jones, age 77 of White Cloud, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at her home. Ila was born on July 21, 1941 in White Cloud to Edward D. and Cleo B. (Nusbaum) Jones and graduated from White Cloud High School in 1960. Ila had been a teacher in Mexico, worked for Mennonite Publishing and then returned to White Cloud where she had worked at the White Cloud Public Schools and later retired from Paul Howard Accounting in Newaygo as a book keeper. Ila enjoyed reading, crocheting, singing, traveling and had been an active member of the White Cloud Mennonite Church for many years. Ila is survived by her sisters and brother, Carol Ann Burkholder of White Cloud; Roger (Dee) Jones of Grand Rapids; Ruth (Clyde) Stoner of Scottdale, Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews. Ila was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl and Ivan Jones and by her brother-in-law, Howard Burkholder.
