Inez May Patterson, age 96, of Hesperia died on February 14, 2011, the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Inez was born on august 19, 1914, in Oceana County and was the daughter of George and Edna (Herin) Hunt. Inez graduated from Hesperia high School in 1932 and Married Lloyd R. Patterson on August 14, 1937. They both loved to fly and both became pilots and owned their own plane. They later owned and operated Patterson Orchards Inc. of Hesperia. Inez is survived by her brothers, Milo Hunt of Indiana and Carl (Lois) Hunt of Hesperia; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd, on February 5, 1991; and infant daughter, born and died on May 28, 1938; son Wayne L. Patterson on June 6, 1997; brothers, Four year old Wesley Hunt, Ivan Hunt, and Hugh Hunt; sisters Vera Deker and Nina Fox. There will be an open house to celebrate Inezs life on Saturday, April 9, from 2 4 PM, at the Hesperia United Methodist Church.
