Ira "Ike" Lyle Burnham, a cherished resident of Fremont, MI, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on Tuesday, August 21, 1934, in the quaint township of Big Prairie, Michigan, Ike lived a life rich in love, laughter, and the cherished company of family and friends.

A proud production worker by trade, Ike dedicated many years to his craft with steadfast commitment and integrity. Outside of his professional life, he was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in the simple pleasures of hunting and fishing. Known for his friendly demeanor, Ike was happiest when surrounded by friends, often engaging in lively conversation and sharing stories of his adventures. Ike was a devoted lifetime member of the Fremont Moose Lodge #1555, where he found camaraderie and purpose, becoming an integral part of the community. His passion for the fraternity was evident in his unwavering dedication and the lasting friendships he formed there.

Ike leaves behind a loving family, his legacy carried on by his brothers: Carl (Virginia) Burnham of Hesperia, MI, Gene Burnham, and John (Wanda) Burnham, along with his many cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Carl A. and Genevieve Burnham, as well as his dear sisters, Maxine VanBlargan and Arlene Spencer, and his partner's in crime; Gill Tanis and Dee.

Family, friends, and all those whose lives Ike touched are invited to a visitation at Crandell Funeral Homes Inc in Fremont, MI on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. His funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm, paying tribute to a life well-lived. Following the service, a luncheon celebration of Ike's life will be held at the Loyal Order of Moose in Fremont at 2:00 pm. It will be a time of remembrance, fellowship, and shared memories. In tribute to Ike's enduring legacy and in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for bricks through the Moose Lodge in his honor. Arrangements have been made by Crandell Funeral Home - Fremont.
