Piszcz, Irene Irene Piszcz, age 86 of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2000 at the Heartland Health Care Center of Whitehall. She was born on August 24, 1913 in Detroit to Nick and Jennie Krasnicki and married Stanley Piszcz on October 21, 1933. Stanley preceded her in death on November 10, 1969. She had been a gift wrapper at the J.L. Hudson Department Store in Detroit for many years until her retirement. She moved to the West Michigan Area in 1973 and attended Our Lady of Fantima in Shelby. She is survived by her daughter, Arlene Stopczynski of Baldwin; her grandchildren, Kenneth (Sally) Stopczynski of Boise, Idaho; Patricia Stopczynski of Baldwin; Victoria (Robert) Newell of Shelby; Constance (Bradley) Crawford of Paris, Michigan; Thomas (Debra) Stopczynski of Hesperia; Jacquline (James) Gendernalik of Luzerne, Michigan; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 1 sister, Lillian Smutek of Deckerville, Michigan. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Stephen Stopczynski in 1984. Funeral Mass Services were held on Saturday, April 29, 2000 from the St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Cloud with Rev.
