Irene Ida Sharp, age 70 of White Cloud, passed away, Friday, July 28, 2000 at her home. She was born on December 6, 1929 in Barryton, Michigan to Glen and Cora (Harris) Leiter and married Joe Sharp on June 7, 1975 in White Cloud. She has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area and had worked in the label room at the Gerber Products Company for many years until her retirement in 1991. She also attended the Croton Community Church. She is survived by her husband, Joe of White Cloud; her children, Carolyn (Lee) Lovelace of Belmont; Esther (Jerry) Kirkendall of Sand Lake; Joyce Foondle of Delton, Michigan; Donald (Julie) Allers of White Cloud; Arthur (Crystal) Allers of Six Lakes; Terry Allers and Pam Petersen of White Cloud; Kathleen (Frank) Pearce of Voorhees, New Jersey; Patricia (Michael) Lagendyk of White Cloud; stepson, Wayne Sharp of Bryon, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; one brother, John (Faye) Leiter of Lyons, Michigan. She was preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held on Monday, July 31, 2000 from the Croton Community Church with Rev. Harry J.R. Bultema presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Township Cemetery.
