Irene G. Thumser Irene G. Thumser, age 85 of White Cloud, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2000 at her daughters home. She was born on May 20, 1914 in Ingham County to George Archie and Amelia A. (Wolever) Guthrie and married Edwin Thumser of April 14, 1934 in White Cloud. Edwin preceded her in death on October 26, 1992. She has been a resident of the White Cloud area since 1931 when she moved from Lansing. She has been a homemaker and production worker at the Gerber Products Company in Fremont for 22 years until her retirement in 1975. She is survived by her children, Conrad D. (Audrey) Thumser of White Cloud; Paul Edwin (Pat) Thumser of White Cloud; Barbara (Ronald) Richards of White Cloud; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; brother, George (Phyllis) Guthrie of Lansing; sister, Geneve Eaton of White Cloud. She was preceded in death by one sister, Myrtle "LaHoma" Hughey and one great granddaughter, Hannah Marie French. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 11, 2000 from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in White Cloud with Rev. Jerry Jaquish presiding. Interment in the Big Prairie Township Cemetery.
