Irving Dale Ryan, age 79 of White Cloud, formerly of Rockford, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at his home following a long battle with cancer. Irv was born on June 24, 1932 in Rockford to Everett and Irene (Greux) Ryan and later moved to the White Cloud area in the late 1980s where he met and married Martina Chaney on February 14, 2000 in White Cloud. Irv had been a truck driver for many years and eventually retired from Lescoa. Irv was a member of the Aetna Calvary Church in White Cloud, charter member of the White Cloud Eagles, member of the Stanton American Legion, Sons of VFW in Baldwin and enjoyed being in the Michigan outdoors hunting and fishing, camping and golfing and was an avid Michigan State fan. A special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Heartland Hospice Fremont office for their care and compassion given to Irv during his illness. Irv is survived by his wife, Tina; his daughter, Terri (Scott) Nelson of Cedar Springs; grandchildren, Kurt (Jennifer) Guarisco of Cedar Springs; Stephanie Nelson of Plainwell; Aubrey (Joe) Armstrong of Howard City; Gavin Frantz of Fennville; great grandchildren, Seth Guarisco, Brayden McIntosh, Gage Moore; his sisters, Betty (Buss) Cullin and Norma (Bob) Lentz both of Wyoming; his brothers, Duane (Betty) Ryan of Trufant and Everett (Alpha) Ryan of Corona, California; brother-in-law, Bill (Anita) Chaney of Oakland, CA; sister-in-law, Ann (Rick) Morris of Chesapeake, VA; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his stepson, Jay Frantz; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara (Gordon) McIntyre. MEMORIAL SERVICES and VISITATION : Thursday, April 19. 2012 from 9:30 until the the time of MEMORIAL SERVICES at 11am at the Aetna Calvary Church 3944 W One Mile Road White Cloud MI 49349.
